Description
Soft, waxy black leather – the Greenland Right Whale
She’s around 80cm in length and weighs in at just under a kilo and a half.
Made of silky, fine black (called ‘Old Grease’) leather on top, and the same but in grey underneath.
She’ll grace any room – whether it’s hanging from a beam or resting on a shelf.
The Greenland Right Whale is an Endangered Species. The Northern seas where they live are shared with large ships, which pose a lethal threat, especially to mothers and their calves.
To highlight this, we don’t hide any imperfections – marks, scars or tears – in the leather used to make the whales; so, like many others, this one has a visible repair.
“On Back-Order” means that the one in the photo has gone to a new home and we’ll need to make another, so it’s more like “Made to Order”. Contact Us if you have questions
